Door Interlock System
Prevents simultaneous opening of airlock and change room doors, protecting cleanroom pressurisation and containment.
A door interlock system is used to prevent the simultaneous opening of airlock and change room doors. It controls and monitors door status such as locked or open according to set system logic, using different types of electro-locks to keep doors secured. The system releases a door only if the other doors in the change room are in a locked condition; simultaneous opening of the doors of the change room is not allowed, to prevent the influx of air from outside or from a less clean area.
Our intelligent door interlock system allows the opening of one door at a time in the airlock or respective change room on request, preventing simultaneous door opening of any other door in that airlock or change room. The system is designed to minimize microbiological and particulate contamination, and helps in the maintenance of airflow and pressurisation in the airlock or change room.
